Nomination Day Saturday, May 9th

Electoral Officer for the 2015 Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke Elections, Dwayne Kirby,  would like to remind the community that Nomination Day will take place this Saturday May 9th  from 10am until 12 noon at the Social Development Unit Offices located in the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex.

Anyone interested in running for the position of Grand Chief or Council Chief will require one (1) nominator and one (1) seconder, both of whom are requested by the Electoral Officer to present themselves at the Social Development Unit Offices when nominating.

All nominators and seconders must be at least eighteen (18) years of age as of Election Day, meet the requirements of the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law and be listed on the Kahnaw�:ke Kanien�keh�:ka Registry.
