Tree Giveaway on Monday May 16th

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) is pleased to announce that the Annual Tree Giveaway will be held Monday, May 16th from 9am until 3pm at the Green Space between the Golden Age Club and the rink.

Approximately 1,500 trees will be available for planting in the community. The trees are donated by the Ministry of Forests, Fauna and Parks, and are distributed by the 4H Clubs of Quebec. Community members may take up to five (5) trees per household. The types of trees that are available this year are not yet known.

KEPO is urging community members to drop by as early as possible due to high demand. Please bring a bag or bucket to transport the trees.

The event will take place rain or shine.
