Rats�nhaienhs Martin Leborgne issues letter of apology for inappropriate actions in regard to letter of complaint

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Rats�nhaienhs Martin Leborgne has given a written letter of apology to two community members in relation to a complaint made to Chief & Council on 8, Seskehk�:wa/September, 2017.

Rats�nhaienhs Leborgne forwarded a copy of the complaint to his business partners, Groupe Vespo. While Rats�nhaienhs Leborgne stated his objective was to immediately address the situation and problems alleged in the complaint, releasing the complaint and accompanying information without written permission was deemed inappropriate by Chief & Council.

The letter of apology was signed by Rats�nhaienhs Leborgne at this past Monday�s Council meeting.

Please take note that MCK Operations has been delegated to address any substantive issues brought forth in the complaint.
