No Super Bowl Parties this year

02/02/2021

In an effort to reduce the spread of the virus, the Kahnaw:ke COVID-19 Task Force (Task Force) is reminding the community that Super Bowl parties are not Permitted. The Task Force would also like to remind the community that visitations are permitted under Directive 36.4 but limited to one other household at a time and limited to once per week, and this should not be used as an opportunity to have a party.

Kahnawakehr:non are being asked to watch the game safely and responsibly from the comfort of your own home.

The Super Bowl is always a big event here in town, and we would like to remind residents that hosting a party is not permitted, said Robyn Montour, General Manager of the Public Safety Division. There are alternatives to watching the big game with family and friends, such as hosting a virtual Super Bowl party via Zoom or FaceTime.

All Task Force Directives currently in effect can be viewed at http://covid-19.kmhc.ca/2020/04/22/directives.
