PK Administration acknowledges members dedication and service

06/23/2021

Forwarded on behalf of the Kahnawake Peacekeepers

As the COVID-19 pandemic subsides and life slowly returns to normal, the Kahnawake Peacekeepers administration would like to acknowledge and thank our members, for their dedication and service to our community.

Since 1979, the men and women of the Peacekeepers have been risking their health and safety to serve and protect the community.
The last year marked the first time the Peacekeepers engaged a threat that could not be seen. A threat that presented danger, not just to the officer, but to their families as well. A threat that took the lives of millions across the planet.

Through all the hardship and stress, the Peacekeepers remained dedicated to Kahnaw:ke and all of its residents.

Policing is often a thankless job, and the Peacekeepers administration would like to publicly acknowledge and thank each officer for their professionalism, compassion and bravery in the face of a global pandemic.
