Landfill Operations Commencing Monday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke�s Landfill Office wishes to advise the community of a Landfilling Operation that will commence the week of September 27th, 2021, at the residence of Bonnie Prince on R-207.

The following are details of the operation: 

• The Kahnaw�:ke Landfill Authority has approved permits for Ali Excavation.
• The Kahnawake Environment Protection Office has approved the Soil Characterization Report.
• The operation should be completed in a week or two, weather permitting.   
• Landfill�s Inspector/Surveillance Monitor Bruce McComber will be on-site for the duration of this project.   
• Random tests will be taken.
• All other measures will be adhered to
