KERM Fund mandate extended due to State of Emergency

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the community that a Mohawk Council Executive Directive was approved at this morning�s duly-convened emergency Council meeting to modify the mandate of the Kahnaw�:ke Economic Relief Measures (KERM) Board, reflecting a change from the Recovery period to the State of Emergency period in the community.

The KERM Fund has also been increased by $2.5M to a total of $17.5 million. This increase is in the event COVID-19 Directives affect a larger amount of the community workforce.

Those businesses who are currently impacted by the Directives have been contacted by KERM administration and in the case a business was not contacted, we ask them to reach out by email to relief@mck.ca
