- View PDFThe Justice Services Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawake is seeking interested community members to participate in a focus group regarding the Regulation Respecting Disciplinary Measures for Decision-Makers Appointed to the Administrative Tribunal. Participants will be asked for their opinions and perspectives on various questions that arose during the drafting of the Regulations.
The date for the session is set for 6pm-7:30pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Interested persons must be on the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke Registry and should contact Tara Cross, Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of Justice, at 450-638-5647 or by email at tara.cross@mck.ca. Please confirm your interest no later than Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 4pm.
The implementation and operation of the Administrative Tribunal are pursuant to the Kahnawà:ke Justice Act, which was created as a step towards self-determination and the exercise of our sovereign rights.
