CDMP Hearings on Amendments to Membership Law resume tomorrow (Tuesday)

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to remind the community that proposals to amend the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law (�the Law� or �Membership Law�) will be brought to the Community Decision Making Process when sessions for that purpose resume tomorrow.
The MCK�s Membership Department, along with Membership Portfolio Chief Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer will sponsor:
- A presentation of the statistics on the difference between Canada�s federal list and the Membership Law criteria for the Kahnaw�:ke Kanien�keh�:ka Registry
- A summary of the consensus reached by the groups from the sessions held from January to July 2013
- Proposals to amend the Law for the community to discuss and consider
Community Consultations are being held from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Karonhian�nhnha School gymnasium. Participants are being urged to arrive a few minutes early in order for the meeting to begin on time.
