Spring Clean-up Challenge

As an extension of the Eastern Door�s Annual Spring Clean-up on April 20th, the Waste Management Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce a Spring Clean-up Challenge to Kahnawa′kehr�:non for the month of April. The Challenge begins today (Wednesday, April 4th) and all community members are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Simply choose a location in Kahnaw�:ke that you feel needs a good clean up, take a before and after clean-up picture and post them at www.facebook.com/recyclinginkahnawake . Your name will automatically be entered into a draw to win one of two handmade backyard Compost Bins, one of two 80 litre Garbage Bins, or one of a host of other prizes.

A perfect time to do your area clean-up will be in Friday, April 20th during the Eastern Door�s event, but you have the whole month to participate if you want to get started early, finish later or need more time to clean more places than one. The more areas you clean, the more chances to win.

The deadline to submit photos is Sunday, April 29th and the draw will take place on Monday, April 30th on K103′s Satketsko Morning Show with Brandon & Paul. The winner′s names will also be posted on our Facebook Page .
