Draft Kahnawake Residency Law posted for viewing, Hearing scheduled for March 21st

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to advise the community that the draft Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law (�the Law�) has been posted on the KLCC website (www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com) and is now available for viewing.

The Law is classified as �Urgent� and a date has been scheduled for a Community Decision Making Process Hearing on Thursday, 21 Ennisk�:wa/March 2019 at Kahnawake Shakotiia�tak�hnhas Community Services. The meeting will begin at 6pm and close at 8:30pm.

Persons who are planning to participate in or attend the Hearing are being urged to view the draft Law in advance of the meeting to familiarize themselves with the draft.
