MCK launches Tiower�:ton Territory Facebook page

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is pleased to announce that a new social media page for Tiower�:ton has launched on Facebook.

The page will host accurate and timely information and allow community members to provide feedback on matters related to Tiower�:ton.

�Having a new page allows us to reach more people with accurate and up to date information,� said Tiower�:ton Manager, Tara McComber. �Administrative information about the policy, community meetings or cabin site allotments are just a few examples of what community members can expect to find. If there�s an emergency, we can post that as well in a timely manner, since we now have the capacity to inform more effectively.�

Although there are existing pages and groups dedicated to Tiower�:ton, this is the only page that the Tiower�:ton Manager and Caretakers will update.

The page can be accessed at www.facebook.com/TiowerotonTerritory  or by typing �Tioweroton Territory� in the Facebook search bar (look for the page with the moose logo).
