Please mind the trees and snow fencing near Orville Standup Park

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to request that community members mind the trees and snow fencing next to the Orville Standup Park.

The snow fencing was put up to protect these young trees planted by staff and volunteers in 2019. This fencing has been repeatedly runover by ATVs and has had to be repaired several times.

These trees were planted with the intent to combat climate change, provide clean air, offer habitat to wildlife, and look after the health and well-being of the community and future generations.

Let us all do our part to respect Mother Earth and the community�s reforestation efforts.
