Slippery road conditions leads to minor school bus accident, no children injured

The Public Transportation Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to update the community on an incident that took place this morning involving a local school bus. At approximately 09:10am, the bus for Howard S. Billings was involved in a minor mishap due to slippery road conditions on Zachary Road. No children were injured when the school bus slipped into the ditch; however the driver did suffer a wrist injury that required medical attention.

The school bus suffered minor damage and was towed back to the Bus Depot.

An investigation into the cause of this incident will take place.
