MCK representatives attending AFN Indigenous Laws Gathering

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that representatives are currently attending the second Assembly of First Nations Indigenous Laws gathering, which is taking place June 11-12 in Wendake, Quebec.

The two-day session agenda includes a keynote presentation entitled �Negotiation for Survival,� as well as several panel discussions dedicated to sharing information and negotiation experiences related to Specific Claims and Indigenous Laws.

The contingency is expected to return at the conclusion of the gathering.
