The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to provide the following information to the community regarding the permits process related to film productions in Kahnawà:ke:

•    If you are approached by a production company or location scout requesting to film on your property, ensure they are directed to the Lands Unit to apply for a permit.
•    Every individual or entity wishing to film on the territory MUST possess a permit.
•    Applications for permits must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to the film date to ensure the proper verification can be carried out. No permits will be issued less than this time period.
•    Additionally, if you see crews filming and are unsure if they have a permit, visit www.kahnawake.com/permits. If they are not listed, please fill out the form to report them.

A representative at the Lands Unit can be reached by telephone at (450) 638-8244.
