In addition to the snowfall this morning, the Public Safety Unit would like to inform the community that a Snowfall Warning is in effect for the region. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimeters are expected to begin early Tuesday morning and to continue through Wednesday.
Road-users should be prepared to adjust to driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Vehicles without snow tires should not be taken on the road.
Motorists are also advised to ensure to have a roadside kit in case of an emergency.
