The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the agenda has been set for this week’s Iroquois Caucus meetings taking place in Oneida Territory, near London, Ontario on Wednesday and Thursday, February 21 and 22.
Agenda items include Tobacco; Taxation; Algonquins of Ontario Agreement update; Free Trade Protocol Implementation; Bill S-3; and a Radioactive Waste Working Group Update.
Nitsénhaienhs Bobby Patton and Martin Leborgne will be attending on behalf of the MCK both days. Ietsénhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer will make a presentation on Bill S-3 on Thursday.
The Iroquois Caucus consists of elected Councils from Kahnawà:ke, Akwesásne, Kanehsatá:ke, Tyendinaga, Six Nations, Wahta and the Oneida of the Thames.
