The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton and Ratsénhaienhs Clinton Phillips will be in Gatineau (Ottawa) today and tomorrow (Thursday) to meet with Federal officials as part of the Kahnawà:ke/Canada Relations (K/CR) table.

The schedule includes a Maintable meeting, Steering Committee meeting, and Environmental and Lands Sectoral Table meetings. Agenda items include Recreation Bay Restoration, Land Management matters, and the renewal of the K/CR Memorandum of Understanding. Ratsénhaienhs Phillips will attend all meetings, while Grand Chief Norton will participate in tomorrow’s Maintable meeting.

They will be accompanied by Chief Political Advisor Winona Polson-Lahache and other MCK staff working on Lands, Environment and K/CR.
