The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Sgt. Detective Larry Beaton is retiring from the Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers after a 26-year career with the force.

Today is his last day on the job.

After graduating from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, his first day of work was June 28, 1993 with the Peacekeepers. He rose through the ranks to become a full-time Investigator in 2015. His file contains numerous letters of appreciation from his supervisors for a job well done, being a team player, and his willingness to assist his co-workers.

“We wish Larry all the best in his retirement,” said Chief Peacekeeper Dwayne Zacharie.
