The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that the Kateri Food Basket will hold a Food Drive for a three-hour period immediately preceding the CP “Holiday Train at Home” virtual concert being held on Saturday, December 12th at 8pm.

Kateri Food Basket volunteers will set up in front of the Knights of Columbus Hall on the Old Malone Highway from 4:30 to 7:30pm to collect non-perishable food items or cash donations. Please note that this event has been approved by the Kahnawà:ke COVID-19 Task Force, as all appropriate safety measures will be utilized.

Due to the pandemic, the Holiday Train will not be running this year, but CP will still donate to food banks that normally host the popular Train including, of course, the Kateri Food Basket.

Among the artists scheduled to perform in the concert is Logan Staats, a Mohawk who was born in Six Nations. The show will last for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

“The Holiday Train at Home” will be streaming via the CP Facebook page facebook.com/canadian.pacific or @CanadianPacific and will remain there for future viewing until the end of the year.
