- View PDFThe Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) wishes to advise the community that Ohenton Irate ne Ratitsenhaienhs Cody Diabo and Ratsénhaienhs Ross Montour met with Quebec Minister Benoit Charette of the Ministry for Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks (MELCCFP), and Marie-Belle Gendron, Member of the National Assembly of Quebec for Chateauguay and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Families.
The purpose of this introductory meeting was to establish and strengthen a working relationship with the Ministry. There was no formal agenda; the focus was on improving future interactions and collaboration.
The meeting was held at the offices of the MCK.
