DESCRIPTION:The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) invites all community members to a special presentation and site visit focused on the management of Phragmites australis (common reed), an aggressive invasive plant threatening our local ecosystems.\nThis event will feature representatives from First Nation Phragmites Control (FNPC), a leading organization in the fight against this harmful species. Learn about the environmental impacts of Phragmites and discover how our community can take action to help control its spread.\n📍 Location: 207 Restaurant\n🕔 Date & Time: Wednesday, June 25th, starting at 5:00 PM\n🥗 Details: A light meal will be provided, followed by a short walk to a nearby Phragmites-invaded site.
