Water & Sewer Installation at New KSS Site
05/15/2008
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke would like to inform all Kahnawakehró:non that works are currently underway to install water and sewer service to the new Kahnawą:ke Survival School.
All works will be done Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Works should be completed by the second week of June, weather permitting.
The Capital Construction Crew is currently working off the roadway where Mohawk Trail meets Route 132. This excavation will allow for horizontal boring to take place beneath Route 132 bound for the new Kahnawą:ke Survival School. These works will not affect traffic at any time and there will be uninterrupted access to all homes and businesses.
Once the horizontal boring is completed the Capital Construction Crew will continue installing the water and sewer service on the North side of Route 132. Proper signalization will be erected delimiting the work zone.
Your patience throughout this project is greatly appreciated and we apologize for the temporary inconvenience. If further information is required, please contact the Technical Services Office at (450)635-1016.
