Mercier Bridge lane closed for repairs

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform the community that the Ministère des Transports du Québec will close one of two lanes of the Kahnawà:ke bound span of the Mercier Bridge this evening, May 27, 2010 from 10 pm until 1 am.

The lane closure begins on the Kahnawà:ke bound span and will continue towards the 138 down ramp (to Chateauguay) and is required for the installation of a steel plate.

Motorists are reminded to obey posted speed limits as they approach construction zones.
