Kahnawą:ke Peacekeepers: Remains identified

The Kahnawake Mohawk Peacekeepers have confirmed that the remains found in a wooded area of Kahnawą:ke earlier this week are those of Tiffany Morrison.

Ms. Morrison had been reported missing on July 4th, 2006. She was 24 years old at the time.

Her body was found at 2:34pm on Monday, May 31st, just off the 132/138 eastbound service road near Adirondack Junction. She has been identified by dental records.

Cause of death has not been determined at this time. The police investigation has changed from a missing persons file to a criminal investigation.

The Peacekeepers wish to offer their sincerest condolences to her family and friends during this tragic time.
