Iroquois Caucus comes to Kahnawą:ke

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke (MCK) announced that the Iroquois Caucus will hold meetings in Kahnawą:ke on Wednesday and Thursday, 18-19 Seskéha/August in the Community Room at the Peacekeepers Station.
Agenda items are expected to include Border Crossing, discussion on Land Claims, follow up to the recent Citizenship Conference, Economic Development and Gaming.
The Iroquois Caucus is comprised of elected Councils from Kahnawą:ke, Akwesasne, Kanesatake, Tyendinaga, Wahta, Six Nations and the Oneida of the Thames (Ontario).
Community members who wish to observe are welcome to do so. Wednesdays meeting is scheduled from 9am to 4:30pm. Thursdays meeting is scheduled from 9am to 2:30pm.
