Portion of Recreation Path closed until March 2011

The Housing Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa’kehró:non that a section of Recreation Path, from the entrance at Mohawk Beach Road to the intersection of the Elder’s Lodge driveway on New River Road, will be closed beginning Monday, November 29th until March 31st, 2011.

The closure will allow for the construction of the new Six-Plex housing project, which will be located next to the Elder’s Lodge. Barricades will be erected at both ends to delimit the work zone for the safety of pedestrians
