Important notice regarding Bell tax exemption
11/30/2010
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that it is aware that many Kahnawà:ke-based Bell Canada customers have received notices regarding their tax exemption eligibility for telephone, Internet B1, television, paging, or Mobility accounts. Community members are being asked to complete and return the enclosed form to reconfirm that you are eligible to receive tax exemptions. Anyone who receives the form in French can obtain an English version at the main reception of the MCK or can download the form from the main page of this site. MCK Tax Consultant John Latour is urging Kahnawa’kehró:non to fill in the forms as soon as possible and return them to Bell. Otherwise the tax exemption may be removed from your account(s) if the company does not receive proper documentation by December 20, 2010. Bell clients can contact Bell at 310-2355 for information. Mr. Latour is available to answer taxation questions that community members may have at 450-632-7500. He is in the office Mondays through Wednesdays.
