MTQ testing culverts on Route 207

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that a firm contracted by the Minist�re de Transport du Quebec (MTQ) is scheduled to conduct drilling and survey work around two culverts on Route 207 early next week.

The survey work is expected to be carried out near Lafleur�s Golf Club and Club Rez between 8:30am and 5pm on Monday, March 14th and Tuesday, March 15th. Results will be used to draw up plans for the replacement of the two culverts later this year. Please note that the work may be postponed due to rain.

One lane of the roadway will be closed in the area where the drilling will occur. Proper signage will be installed to minimize the impact on traffic. No work is planned on private properties.
