Date set for next Cycle of Ceremonies Workshop

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke’s Language and Culture Training center would like to inform the community that the next workshop in the Kanien’kehá:ka Aóhsera/Cycle of Ceremonies Workshop Series will be held this Friday, 6 Onerahtohkó:wa/May at the MCK Training and Culture Center, on the first floor of the K103 Building.
This workshop, entitled Shonkwahtsí:’a Karáhkwa, Onkhihsótha Enhni’tarátie & Entsitewathehtahserón:ni (the Sun, Moon and Opening the Gardens Ceremonies), will be held from 1 to 4pm.
This series of workshops aims to inform participants of the various traditional ceremonies and festivals conducted throughout the Kanien’kehá:ka ceremonial calendar year. They also aim to encourage participants to attend these various Longhouse ceremonies/festivals with confidence.
