Mercier Bridge: One of two lanes closed Tonight (Friday)

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke has been informed by the Ministčre de Transport du Quebec (MTQ) that traffic is currently flowing with two Kahnawą:ke-bound lanes open. The Ministčre had to close one lane earlier this morning to install a temporary plate on the slab.
However, please note that tonight at 10pm until tomorrow (Saturday) at 9am, only one Kahnawą:ke-bound lane will be open to perform urgent repair work on the slab.
Because of this work, there will be no traffic Montreal-bound traffic after midnight tonight as previously announced. However, on Saturday, June 18th at 9am one lane will be open in each direction until Sunday, June 19th at 11:59pm.
The MTQ is aware of the major impact this emergency closure has on the traffic and thanks you for your understanding of the situation.
The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke will keep the community informed as developments occur.
