Land clearing for new waterline

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that a narrow path of land is being cleared to install a new waterline. The land being cleared runs along the north side of Route 132 from Glen Delaronde Garage to the Kahnaw�:ke Survival School.



The new waterline is necessary to ensure adequate fire protection for the Survival School and will also act as a secondary water supply to the Mohawk Trail / Lot 106 area.

The clearing began on Tuesday July 12.  If further information is required, please contact the Technical Services Office at (450) 635-1016.
