Next Cycle of Ceremonies Workshop this Friday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) Language & Culture Training Center would like to inform the community of the next workshop in the Kanienkeh�:ka A�hsera/Cycle of Ceremonies Workshop Series.

The workshop, entitled Orh�tsheri & Okahser�:ta / String Bean & Green Corn Ceremony, will be held this Friday, July 22nd from 1 to 4pm at the MCK Language & Culture Training Center (1st floor of K103 Radio building).

The workshops aim to inform participants of the various traditional ceremonies and festivals conducted throughout the Kanien�keh�:ka ceremonial calendar year. They also aim to encourage participants to attend these various Longhouse ceremonies/festivals with confidence.
