Paving on Highway 30

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke has been informed by the Ministčre des Transports du Quebec that paving will take place on Highway 30 in Kahnawą:ke, St. Isidore and St. Constant between Route 207 and the Route 730 Interchange. In preparation, the left lane in each direction will be closed from September 12th to the 23rd from 7am to 6pm each day.
 
The first phase of paving will take place from September 26th until mid-October with all traffic detoured to the westbound side every day from 7am to 6pm. During this time the entrance ramp from Route 207 will be closed. Road users wishing to head east from  Route 207 will be diverted to the westbound entrance ramp to make a turn-around at the Industrial Boulevard interchange in Chateauguay.

Phase 2 will run from mid-October until mid-November with all traffic detoured to the eastbound side of the highway every day from 7am to 6pm. During this time the exit ramp (#44) to Route 207 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the Industrial Boulevard interchange and then east on Highway 30.

Please note that the width of the lanes will be reduced to four metres and the speed limit reduced to 70 km/hr during the work periods.
