Change to Mercier Bridge lane reduction

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has just been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated and the Ministère des Transport du Quebec that the Kahnawà:ke-bound span of the Mercier Bridge closure originally scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd has been changed to Wednesday, November 2nd from 9am until 3pm.

Tonight’s closure will continue as previously scheduled (November 1st from 8pm until November 2nd at 4:15am).

During the work, one lane will be available in each direction on the Montreal-bound span.

After the closures, the following traffic configuration will continue:

One lane in each direction
- Weekends and holidays
- Monday to Wednesday from 9pm until 4am
- Thursday and Friday from 11pm until 4am

Two Montreal bound lanes and one Kahnawà:ke bound lane
- Monday to Friday from 5am until 11:30am

Two Kahnawà:ke bound lanes and one Montreal bound lane
- Monday to Wednesday from 12:30pm until 8pm
- Thursday and Friday from 12:30pm until 10 pm
