Town Garage undergoing repairs

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that the Town Garage is currently undergoing repairs due to a flood over the holiday season.

A broken pipe was the cause of the flood which had affected several office spaces within the garage. Repairs are being made and will result in delays for correspondence by fax.

If any community member or organization would like to send information to Public Works, please email correspondence to dinah.mccomber@mck.ca or drop it off in person between the hours of 8am and 3:30pm. During this time, faxes can also be sent to the MCK Main Building at 450-638-5958 to the attention of ‘Town Garage’.

The Town Garage can still be reached by telephone at 450-632-5825.

The repairs are expected to be completed within two weeks. No other services will be affected.
