Reminder: Complete closure of the Kahnawà:ke-bound Mercier Bridge this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to remind motorists that Ministère des Transports du Quebec will close the entire Kahnawà:ke-bound side of the Mercier Bridge to traffic beginning tomorrow, Friday, January 27th from 10am until Monday, January 30th at 5am.

During this period, traffic management will follow this schedule: 

•    Friday January 27th from 10am to Saturday, January 28th at 4am
Two lanes open towards the South Shore. No traffic towards Montréal.

•    Saturday, January 28th from 5am to 2pm
Two lanes open towards Montréal. No traffic towards the South Shore.

•    Saturday, January 28th from 3pm to Sunday, January 29th at 4am
Two lanes open towards the South Shore. No traffic towards Montréal.

•    Sunday, January 29th from 5am to 2pm
Two lanes open towards Montréal. No traffic towards the South Shore.

•    Sunday, January 29th 3pm to Monday, January 30th at 5am
Two lanes open towards the South Shore. No traffic towards Montréal.

•    Monday, January 30th at 5am
Reopening of the Kahnawà:ke-bound bridge. Two lanes will be opened in each direction.



This closure is required to perform repair work to the structural elements under the bridge.
