REVISED: Roof replacement - Kahnawake Youth Center

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform all Kahnawa’kehró:non that the roof of the Kahnawà:ke Youth Center will be replaced. The work, originally scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 1st has been postponed until Friday, February 3rd. Once begun, the work will continue for approximately 5 working days, weather permitting. The work is being performed by roofing company Les Toiture Hogue.

For safety reasons there will be no parking permitted in the Kahnawake Youth center parking lot during the construction period. Patrons are advised to find other areas to park. A temporary walkway will be in place for patrons of the Youth Center (see image below).
