Michael Sky appointed Casino Referendum Electoral Officer

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke announced today that Michael Sky has been appointed to the  position of Casino Referendum Electoral Officer.

He was the sole nominee for the position. The deadline for nominations was Thursday, 15 Enniskó:wa/March.

Mr. Sky passed the security check and met all the requirements and was formally appointed at the Council Meeting on Monday, 26 Enniskó:wa/March.

The Casino Referendum Electoral Officer will be responsible to manage and supervise the casino project referendum process, including setting the date for the referendum itself.
