Changes to lane closure schedule on the Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has been informed by the Ministere du Transport Quebec of major changes to the Mercier Bridge lane closures that were previously planned to begin this weekend.

The expected closure of both Kahnawà:ke-bound lanes will be postponed to the following week beginning Friday, May 4th from 10am until Monday, May 7th at 5am. This postponement is due to a delay in the manufacture of parts.

One lane on the Montreal-bound span will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 27th from 10pm until Saturday, April 28th at 8pm to allow for repairs. During this time, both lanes in the Kahnawà:ke-bound span and one lane in the Montreal-bound span will be accessible.
