Firearms Trafficking Ring Dismantled

Six (6) of the seven (7) suspects wanted in connection with an illegal firearms trafficking ring are now in police custody.

     • Herby Peter Lahache (Kahnawake)
     • Jonathan Williams - Mayo (Kahnawake)
     • Damian Lee Porter (Kahnawake)
     • Roy Beauvais (Kahnawake)
     • Lincoln Rice (Kahnawake)
     • Jason Eugene Bober (Chateauguay)

Were taken into custody, without incident during an operation at several locations in Kahnawake, as well as a residence in Chateauguay.

The Kahnawake Peacekeepers along with officers and investigators with the Joint Forces Firearms, Ammunition, and Explosives Trafficking Investigation Unit served seven (7) arrest warrants and ten (10) search warrants, all part of Operation Flicker (Operation Lueur).

Approximately one hundred police officers are continuing their investigation, which began around 06:00 hrs.

All suspects are scheduled to appear in Longueuil Court this afternoon. They face firearms and other related charges.
