Electoral Officer acknowledges Appeals

The Office of the Electoral Officer, Timmy Norton and the Assistant Electoral Officer Noreen Montour would like to acknowledge receipt of 2 Appeals to the Court of Kahnaw�:ke on July 19, 2012 by Registered Mail.

The Electoral Officer and the Assistant Electoral Officer would like to reassure the community that the Appeals are being taken very seriously and a proper response is being prepared by the Electoral Officer.

At this time the Electoral Officer Timmy Norton maintains the same position that was announced after the completion of the Elections on July 7th that "everything went very smoothly with only some minor problems that did not affect the outcome of the Elections."
