Reminder - Mercier Bridge one lane per direction this weekend

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to remind road users that the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated and the Minist�re des Transports du Qu�bec will limit traffic to a single lane per direction on the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge beginning tonight (September 7th) at 10pm until Monday, September 10th at 5am.

The Kahnaw�:ke-bound Bridge will be closed to traffic to allow preparatory work for the opening of the new Monette overpass on Monday, September 10th. During this period, the bridge�s access ramp from Airlie Street at LaSalle towards the South Shore will also be closed. A flagman will be posted at the entrance to the Airlie access ramp to facilitate access for buses and public transportation from 8am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Note that this road work may be postponed depending on weather conditions.
