Animal Vaccination Clinic October 21st
10/10/2012
The Animal Protection Department of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke is pleased to announce that an Animal Vaccination Clinic will be once again be held on Sunday, October 21st from 9am to 1pm at the Community Protection Building.
A registered veterinarian will be on-site providing check-up, vaccination and preventative services for cats and dogs.
Pet vaccinations and preventative medication will provide protection against canine parvovirus, Lyme disease, rabies, heartworm, fleas, ear mites, roundworm, and hookworm. Pet owners can choose all or any combination of services they wish to provide for their animals.
Earlier this year there were confirmed cases of Lyme disease and heartworm in Kahnawą:ke animals. Please help prevent the contraction of these diseases and protect your pets by vaccinating.
All fees are the responsibility of the pet owner, but it is important to note that they will be provided at a lower cost than at a veterinarian office.
For further information or questions, please contact Deidra Whyte at the CPU by telephone at (450) 632-0635.
