Notice to Community - Petro T water and sewer project on Route 132

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community about an upcoming project to connect the Petro-T and Tim Horton business to Kahnaw�:ke�s centralized water and sewer service on Route 132.

The water and sewer pipe installation will be paid for by the above mentioned business and not by the MCK. The installation has been designed by Petro-T�s consultant and the work will be done by Petro-T�s contractor under the supervision of a technician from MCK�s Capital Unit.

Contractor Nella will start with horizontal boring to pass under the highway on Monday, December 3rd. There may be some excavation done this week on each side of the highway near Petro-T for the receiving pits.
 
No impact on traffic is expected during the works.
