Comprehensive Phone Survey on Community Decision Making Process set to launch
01/28/2013
The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to announce that it is launching a comprehensive telephone survey campaign to gather feedback on the Community Decision Making Process (CDMP).
The surveys will be conducted exclusively by Lulu Rice on behalf of the KLCC and will begin on February 1st, 2013. During the next several weeks, Ms. Rice will attempt to contact every household that has a phone number listed in the Kahnawà:ke directory.
The survey will attempt to gain a sense of the community’s familiarity of the CDMP, reasons for their levels of participation (or lack of participation), and other topics related to the Process. It will also lend an opportunity to inform people of the Process.
The survey could take as little as one minute, though no one who participates will be ‘rushed’ in any manner whatsoever.
“Once it has been determined that every household has had the opportunity to participate, the information and suggestions contained in the surveys will be compiled,” said KLCC Coordinator Kahente Horn-Miller. “The results will be used to help identify specific problems or issues within the CDMP and to help determine possible improvements that could better reflect the community’s requirements.”
The community will receive the survey results once it is completed.
