Reminder - Community Meeting Tuesday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to remind Kahnawa’kehró:non that a Community Meeting is scheduled for 7pm tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Golden Age Club.

Agenda items include:
1.    Land allotments
2.    Presentation by Derek Montour, Executive Director of Kahnawake  Shakotiia’takehnhas Community Services
3.    Open discussion

This will be one of the ‘extra’ meetings being held since Chief & Council agreed in January to hold meetings monthly on a six-month trial basis. Community meetings have been held on a seasonal basis since 2003.
