Associate Executive Director resigns

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Associate Executive Director Ryan Rice has voluntarily resigned his position, effective immediately.

Mr. Rice has asked that the reasons for his resignation not be disclosed. The MCK is respecting this and has accepted his resignation.

�Ryan leaves the organization as a senior member of our management team, whose contributions and shared goal of achieving the financial sustainability of our organization and the community has always been valued,� said Interim Executive Director Kevin Kennedy. �I wish him well in his future endeavors.�

Mr. Rice worked for the MCK for over thirteen (13) years and has been instrumental in overseeing an organization with strict financial accountability. He has left behind an extremely efficient team who will take over his duties and provide stability until his position can be filled.

The upcoming fiscal year budget has already been approved and will be announced to the community next week.
