Reminder - Consultation on Membership Law Amendments tomorrow (Tuesday) evening

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that the fifth Community Consultation on amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Membership Law will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.

The meeting will take place at the Karonhian�nhnha School Gymnasium and is scheduled for a period of two-and-a-half hours (6pm to 8:30pm). Participants are asked to arrive a few minutes ahead of time so the meeting can begin promptly.

Once again, the specific item to be discussed will be Membership criteria. The Consultation will continue where it left off on 21, Ennisk�:wa/March, a meeting attended by approximately fifty community members. Should consensus be reached, a Technical Team that will include community representatives will be created to begin the process for drafting the actual amendments.
